The biggest race in Stand up paddling history is about to begin - and it's going to be a good one...

If you haven't heard of the Molokai-2-Oahu Paddleboard World Championship (M2O) then you can't have been into the competitive Stand up paddling scene for very long. This is the biggest race on the planet, and it's happening this weekend in Hawaii. In record time, 250 competitors from 15 countries registered for the event, forcing organisers to close entries for the race. 

With the latest surge in the popularity of distance stand up paddling, it's no wonder there was a 20% increase in people vying for a chance to successfully cross the 32 mile Ka-iwi channel.
