Jackson Close heads off to Sunset for the world tour
Jacksons off to the big league! Sunset Pro
The ex Longboard champion from Snapper Rocks didn't even have boards to take! In a last minute decision to enter, he borrowed two Laguna Bay SUP's from Dogman and jumped on a plane. Funnily enough, it took some convincing for him to take them, because apparently Jackson knew they probably wouldn't come back in one piece!
There's some very big expectations from the Aussie paddlers. With Jackson's proven track record in the longboarding world, the move to SUP was an easy progression and he's immediately found his feet in the competitive scene. With the great conditions forecast at Sunset over the coming weeks he's sure to do Australia proud!
Lets just hope those boards come back in one piece...
The Stand Up World Tour - Sunset Pro kicks off in a few days time from the 7th February to the 15th February. You can follow his progress via the Stand Up World tour Facebook page, or check the seabreeze forums during the competition as Jackson himself sends through reports.
