Connor Baxter, don't look back mate!
Whatever you do Connor, don't turn around...
Have you ever felt like theres ninety nine someones behind you? Well I bet Connor knows the feeling, because he was in this very position during the SUP Race Cup in St. Maxime, France earlier this month. The (unofficial) European racing tour definitely put on a show for the competitors, with some describing the conditions as apocalyptic on day one. Turning the racing into a battle for survival.
Day two however proved to be far nicer, although hot. The racing was on for young and old, obviously by looking at the pic you can see it was the young who got out in front but what an image! Connor held off his closest rival, Travis Grant during the first race by only two seconds. But in the end he was beaten by Travis Grant overall after both races times were put together. It was also an incredibly close race in the women's fleet, with Angie Jackson only just missing out on first place by 0.6 of a second!
