Babes on SUP raise funds for Christchurch Earthquake

The girls in front of some veeeery pricey boats
Wearing dresses supplied by Yvonne Bennetti & flowing kaftans (a long Mediterranean tunic thing) from La Madu - the girls went for a lengthy paddle, followed by a meet and greet lunch.
What was all the fuss about? Well the girls wanted to do something a little different to raise some money for the Christchurch earthquake, lately the donations have slowed a little - so
what better to spark new donations
than girls on SUP boards!
Annabel Anderson - the event organiser and Babes on Boards coach - says: “To be able to give these girls the chance to paddle alongside beautiful superyachts, against backdrop of Auckland’s iconic Sky Tower while adding some glamour and vigour to raising much needed earthquake appeal funds was simply too good to turn down. Some of these girls have been paddling for a while, others less than a month. They are out there doing it & loving it. Helping give them the opportunity to do this has been amazing."
Check out the photos below, what a change from the usual boardies and rashie we're used to!
