Angela & Paul will enjoy the new Fly Wave and Race SUPs as well as the Fanatic Surfboards, both in results and R&D..

Craig Gertenbach, Fanatic says:

"I'm very happy to welcome Angie and Paul to our Fanatic SUP & Surf team. I have been watching them for a while already via our Australian Fanatic agent Adam Quinn. INTERVIEW PAUL “JACKO” JACKSON:

What were your reasons to join the Fanatic team?

I can see where Fanatic is heading and it seems to be very similar to were l want to go. I have sold Fanatic for quite a while in my shops and have seen the quality and the effort they put in to making top notch products so for me the decision was easy.

I have a lot of great things in the works and I'm stoked that Fanatic and I can work on them together!!!

Which are your favourite Fanatic boards?

I've been playing with the new 12'6 and 14´0 ft race boards. Both of these boards are perfect for what they are designed for and I'm loving the feel of where they are going with these boards! I can't wait to start playing with the wave boards!

What are your plans? What kind of events are you doing in 2011?

I am planing to do the main BOP race's as well Molokai, I am also planing to go to Hamburg for the Jever Cup again this year as well as any other race's that pop up and I can get to!!! I also want to put a good year in to chasing some bigger waves on the SUP and seeing where I can push it to.

How is it to live together and compete in the same sports/same sponsor?

It's easy I think we have one of the best jobs around and we give each other plenty of water time, we work well together and we know what is good and bad at for each other, which is good for me because I suck at most things in the shop and Angie is good at nearly everything to do with the shop so she
gets to do heaps more work than me.

I really wanted to be a part of a company that is growing and pushing the Sport. I feel that Fanatic is always pushing hard and this is shown with the production SUP's they are releasing.

Which are you favourite Fanatic boards?

I'm a big fan of the Carbon 12'6 race, super competitive and super light weight.

What are your plans? What kind of events are you doing in 2011?

I'm open to any events this year. I haven't stopped training since BOP California 2010. My big focus is Hawaii in July for few races & Molokai 2 Oahu Solo for 2011 & possibly some races in Europe.
