(Oct 07-17:19) Rudder: What was the last regatta you have been to?
(Oct 07-17:20) Murray_Jones: I just finished the Challenge Julius Baer 2008 last weekend in Lausanne.
(Oct 07-17:20) Sledge: Hello Murray, you are a strategist and up the mast. What is your helm experience before this though please?
(Oct 07-17:21) Murray_Jones: Well, I did a lot of helming in the AC boats between 1996 and 2003
(Oct 07-17:21) Murray_Jones: prior to that was in Olympic classes (Flying Dutchman and 470)
(Oct 07-17:22) Rudder: I am actually a Swiss German friend carbon and am very passionate about Alinghi... will we have some more 'meet the team' events like we had during the 32nd cup? will we see you sailing more in CH?
(Oct 07-17:23) Murray_Jones: I've sailed the whole season in Lac Leman and I enjoyed sailing on the lake very much and seeing all our supporters following the D35 series!
(Oct 07-17:24) Murray_Jones: Some Alinghi team mates will be sailing shortly in the Geneva Match Race.
(Oct 07-17:25) Edwina: Hi Murray, Congratulations on winning the Julius Baer Challenge. Having won everything in Cats this season, do the Alinghi guys find themselves secretly hoping the multihull dog race goes ahead?
(Oct 07-17:27) Murray_Jones: Personally I'd be looking forward to sail on the multihull during the next AC but whether it happens or not remains to be seen...

(Oct 07-17:28) carlos: I am wanting to know you can race with any team or are you exclusivity Alinghi, even at regattas with no Alinghi , like the some other cup teams?
(Oct 07-17:30) Murray_Jones: I'm free to sail on other boats / teams, as long as is not conflicting with my Alinghi sailing program or other Alinghi commitments
(Oct 07-17:30) Murray_Jones: ... the wider sailing experience I get, the more valuable I am to do my job well.
(Oct 07-17:31) john: and also, what can you say about your crew mates? what are their main strengths? Thanks again.
(Oct 07-17:32) Murray_Jones: On the D35 catamarans, their jobs on board are very different from each other and require different skills and strengths...
(Oct 07-17:33) Murray_Jones: The main strength of the team on board is the will to win the races and to back each other up.
(Oct 07-17:34) carlos: what's in your yard? tri or Cat - when do we see it.it's a big cat , right?
(Oct 07-17:34) Murray_Jones: I can tell you it's got probably more than one hull ... and it will be big and fast !!!

(Oct 07-17:36) Murray_Jones: Actually I wasn't with Big Red ... the Quilter I know is a nice guy! We like to call him Low Life!

(Oct 07-17:38) Murray_Jones: Even if the AC is not sailed on multihulls I would hope that we will get to do some sailing and hopefully racing on the multihull.

(Oct 07-17:41) Murray_Jones: I know the people you're talking about but I haven't had the pleasure (?) to do a round the world race yet.
(Oct 07-17:41) carlos: What do you rather be sailing, a monohull or a multihull? Why?
(Oct 07-17:42) Murray_Jones: Right now I'm really enjoing sailing the multihulls as it's a new experience for me and every time I go out sailing I'm learning something.

(Oct 07-17:45) peter: I'd like to ask Murray, does Ernesto Bertarelli only sail if Brads sails also with him.
(Oct 07-17:47) Murray_Jones: No, Ernesto sails with other people. For example Brad hasn't sailed on the D35 in the last 2 seasons.
