'Three of a Kind Regatta Mounts Bay' ? Yachting Western Australia

Built up to be a big grudge match with the arrival of the 18 foot Skiffs, the annual Three of a Kind Regatta hosted by Mounts Bay Sailing Club on 13th March 2011 created an air of expectancy amongst the 40 boats representing 10 classes. So with the arrival of an easterly only reaching 12knots at times the 18's were reduced to their small rigs and were never in the hunt. Centre stage featured the 14' Skiffs and the 49ers with their new rigs. In a shifting breeze there were several changes for the lead and it showed the strengths ...
