The recent Sydney International Boat Show has proven a winner for boat manufacturer Mustang Marine.

Mustang Marine general manager, Chris Heaton, described the company's participation as 'a great success.'

'We achieved higher sales than we experienced at the earlier Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and I believe this success was based on our incentives and the new direction we are following,' he explained.

'Our new direction is all about listening to owners and providing them with everything that enhances their ownership of a Mustang.

'Our commitment is to deliver a quality product that represents outstanding value for money and assisting new owners meet some of the annoying running costs.

'The next step for the company will focus on the release of new models, developed with owner's needs as a priority and in turn offering on-going opportunities to share boating experiences with like-minded owners,' he added.

Heaton admitted Mustang Marine had experienced 'a turbulent 12 months.'

'However, we have turned the corner and have well and truly commenced establishment of the Mustang brand as a leader in the local and international boating market,' he declared.

The company's new direction will be maintained through its dealer network in coming weeks, with innovative incentives, including free fuel, berthing, insurance and servicing offered to those who missed the Sydney International Boat Show.
