Consistent helming skills combined with outstanding crew technique allowed Southport Yacht Club skipper Peter Lahey to retain the prestigious Go to Blazers trophy with Still Crazy on the Southport Broadwater on Sunday. The two day seven race series attracted Queensland?s best including the former Australian champion Chris Annear racing under the Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club burgee. Annear stacked his crew with local knowledge however the former Blazer 23 champion Neil Sherring while making few tactical mistakes on his home club course at the tiller of Feral fell out of touch on the light downwind legs to sail on even ...
