The Australian Women's Match Racing crew of Katie Spithill, Jessica Eastwell and Angela Farrell has booked their place in the quarter-finals of Match Cup Sweden, finishing second overall in the opening round-robin. The Australian trio had two races on Wednesday to finish up the round-robin, losing to Lucy MacGregor of Great Britain before defeating Ekaterina Skudina of Russia in the final flight of the round. 'In the first race today we lost in a very close battle with MacGregor,' said Farrell. 'It was very even off the start and a close luff at the top mark saw her around first.' ...
