Slingsby shares Laser lead at Kiel Week
The second day for the Olympic classes at Kiel Week and Northern Germany offered perfect sailing conditions along the Kiel Fjord, westerly breeze 11 - 16 knots, in gusts up to 20 knots, partly sunny and cloudy.

The elite of international Laser sailorsare present in Kiel - Andrew Murdoch, NZL and Tom Slingsby, AUS share the lead with both five points overall, and Gustavo Lima, POR is third, sharing even points with fourth placed Adonis Bouglouris, GRE.
James Burman is 36th, James Ashley is 38th, Ryan Hannan 66th, Joshua Chant 72nd and Nick Brunning 151st.
Victory in the fourth race of the Finn fleethelped Ed Wright to wear the leaders yellow jersey Friday (overall 11 points), followed closely by H?gh-Christensen, Denmark (overall 12) and Trujillo of Spain in third overall (also 12 points).
Top scorer of the 2.4mR keelboat fleetis Damien Seguin of France, with overall second the German Heiko Kr?ger close at his heels and Thierry Schmitter, of the Netherlands, in third after five races.
The 49er teamsstarted in two groups, after seven races the leading Spanish team Iker Martinez and Xabier Fernandez have scored 11 points overall, followed by Rodion Luka and George Leonchuk, UKR in second place and Nico Delle Karth and Nik Resch, AUT in third.
Nathan Outteridge and Ben Austin are in 12th place.
In the Laser Radial Women's fleetLijia XU, of China crossed the finish line in today's first race as first, and leads overall with five points. Second overall is Multala Sari, who won the second race today, followed by Anna Tunnicliffe of the USA, fourth overall.
The top team of the Star fleetafter four races wearing the yellow jersey on Thursday, June 26th, are Fredrik Loof and Anders Ekstrom, of Sweden who sailed their to victory in both today's races and left Robert Scheidt and Bruno Prada in second overall.
Scheidt commented: 'In today's first race Loof was one narrow boatlength ahead of us on the finishing line; for the start of the second race we were two minutes late due to a mainsail problem just before the gun!'
The pink jersey (third overall) goes to Alex Hagen and Frithjof Kleen of Germany who have finished each of the four races in third place!
Today's two races in the RS:X Board Men and Womenresulted in Miarczynski, POL holding the lead of the Men's fleet and wearing the yellow jersey. Second overall after six races is Bouman, NED, followed by his countryman van Rijsselberge. Top board sailors RS:X Women are Kinzl, GER as first, Brygota, POL as second and Hcavaty, POL in third place.
The 470 M fleetshows following top teams after 5 races: First T. Etter/F. Steiger, SUI (9), second Yuan Zhen XU/T. Koh, SIN (11) and third, G. Woolley/M. Overington, NZL (14).
Mathieu Higgins and Timothy Lynch are 13th with Sam Kivell and Max Taylor in 27th.
A. Kondo/N. Kamata, JPN won today's both races on the 470 Wcourse and secured their lead with overall five points. T. Torgersson/V. Santen, SWE followed as second with 11 points, and will wear the green jersey, while H. Koch/L. Sommer, DEN will show up in pink tomorrow.
Stacey Omay and Chelsea Hall lie in fifth place.
