An importer and distributor for MAN high speed diesel engines, the company has established a strong dealer network Australian wide.
Recent upgrades and additions to the business now equip Seapower to deal with a broader range of customers. The company has added a Yanmar engine sales, service and parts dealership to its portfolio, along with an Onan generator sales, service and parts dealership.
Seapower has also recently upgraded its Fremantle facilities, including a restructure of business operations.
According to new General Manager, Steve Mawhinney, "It is now possible that with the new management team, products, and revitalised service, we can confidently promote ourselves as being one of the largest privately owned engine market solution providers in WA.
"Our team of nearly 30 highly trained technicians, salespersons, parts interpreters and support staff are available to assist customers wherever they can to make the customers experience with the newly revitalised Seapower Australia one that is unmatched within the state.
'The large range of choices we can now offer leads us to being able to satisfy most customer's needs and expectations within a given budget or engineering considerations."
Locally, Seapower has seven mobile service vehicles, a staff of 13 in service department and five team members in the spare parts department.
For his part, Mawhinney has been with Seapower for 10 months and was formally Regional Manager for large engine company.
"Our strength lies in our dedicated sales team focused only on selling engines. We have over AUD$1 million in parts inventory in stock, so most items either held or within very quick delivery period for customers around the country."
