There is a French sea battle shaping up at Sail Port Stephens with sizeable fleets of Beneteau and Jeanneau production boats enlisting for the annual regatta, now in its fourth year. 'French rivalry is good for the sport and great if it gets people out using their boats,' said Vicsail managing director Brendan Hunt who is expecting up to 10 Beneteaus on the starter?s list for the regatta opener, the Commodore?s Cup, with many staying on for the prestigious Yachting NSW IRC Championship.
