It was a long day on the water at the Team Sailing Nationals at Algies Bay, with fresh breezes allowing good progress through the second round robin, but causing collisions with damage to boats, and an unusual number of sailors taken ashore with minor injuries. With Round Robin Two almost completed, Auckland Regions Champions St Kentigern College and Kerikeri High School (Northland winners) lead the Gold fleet with six wins each, closely followed by Lindisfarne College (Lower North Islands winners) and Whangarei Boys on five wins.
