In a little over a week the ISAF Executive Committee will be voting on the equipment for the 2016 Olympics. While the Elliott 6m was included on the initial slate approved a few months ago, there has been lots of discussion recently as to modifying the list of disciplines to accommodate other classes. In May of 2010 the ISAF Olympic Commission delivered a report to the Executive Committee to strengthen the position of sailing in the Olympic Games.
