OAMPS Insurance Brokers NSW Youth Championship NoR Now Available

Held annually the OAMPS Insurance Brokers NSW Youth Championship is the pinnacle youth Sailing Event in NSW.

This year the event will be held on the October long weekend the 3rd to 5th October 2009 at Georges River 16s Sailing Club. The Championship is a unique event open to all sailors who are Yachting Australia members and who are under 19 years of age as at the 31st of December in the year of the event.

All Classes are welcome and some of the more popular youth classes that have attended include the Sabots, Optimists, Manly Juniors, Flying Elevens, Spirals, Lasers, Laser Radials, 420s, and 29ers. The Yardstick regatta provides a valuable opportunity for junior sailors to compete against other athletes in different classes.

Racing is scheduled each day, further information can be found in the Notice of Race (NoR) and Sailing Instructions(SIs).
Heats 1 and 2 on Saturday
Heats 3, 4 and 5 on Sunday
Heats 6 and 7 on Monday and Presentation scheduled asap after completion of the last race

The NSW Youth Championships have been organised by Yachting NSW for over 25 years and is a truly unique event in Australia.
