O Takes Heat 1 - 12ft Skiff National Championships

'O (Jonathon Temple & Richard Jones) - Twelve Foot Skiff Australian Championships' Brett Hobson

O, Jonathan temple and Richard Jones, took out heat 1 of the 12ft Skiff Australian Championships, sailed in a very light NorEaster. Gemmell Sails finished second and Yabba Dabba finished third.

The course was reduced to two laps due to the lack of breeze, the leaders still only doing the course in two hours.

O lead almost the entire race after a great start and first work. Gemmell Sails pressured them all race and hit the lead on several occasions.

Garde was third for most of the day, challenging for second place on one occasion, but fell right out of it down the last spinnaker run.

Giddy Up and Yabba Dabba went toe to toe all day for fourth place, Yabba Dabba eventually hold out Giddy Up down the last run to take third. ASM was fifth, Foxy Lady Too finished sixth and Garde was seventh.
