Contender World Championship 2009

There is a new leader at the Contender World Championship, being hosted by the Sonderborg Yacht Club in Denmark.

Bjarke B johnsen (DEN) now leads the competition after a first and second place today. This takes him to 13 points, two clear of Italian Andrea Bonezzi, who moved up the leaderboard one place (6,3 today) into second. Third is Soren Dulong Andreasen (DEN).

Fourth is Jens Langendorf (DEN) the early leader, after a fifth and eighth place today dropped him down the placings. Australians Jono Neate and Chris Peile occupy fifth and sixth place. Christoph Homier (GER) is seventh, Matt Aston (GBR) is the best placed of the British contingent, Jacob Lunding (DEN) is ninth and Gary Langdown (GBR) is in tenth place.
