12:39 PM Fri 30 Jan 2009 GMT NSW Maritime is urging skippers to stay clear of the exclusive use zone for the Come and Try Water Ski Tournament on Lake Centenary, Temora, on Saturday 31 January and Sunday 1 February 2009.
NSW Maritime Regional Manager Murray/ Inland Scott Kidd said that an exclusive use aquatic licence had been issued to event organiser Temora Shire Council to conduct the Come and Try Water Ski Tournament on Lake Centenary.
'The exclusive use zone will be closed to recreational navigation between 6.30am and 6.30pm on both days,' Mr Kidd said.
'The exclusive use zone has been established so that water skiers can enjoy safe access to the lake and its facilities for the duration of the water ski tournament.
'No recreational vessels, except vessels associated with the event, are to enter the exclusive use zone during the water ski tournament.
'It's a great recreational event and we hope that everyone enjoys their weekend on Lake Centenary,' Mr Kidd said.
