Meridien Success on the SIBS Marina
For the first time, Meridien took space on the bustling marina at SIBS, moving from a small indoor stand and reaping the rewards.

'Last year we could only fit in a small spot inside,' says marketing manager, Penni McCluskey. 'Whereas this year we certainly noticed a difference. There's no comparison. We were there selling berths and property and on the marina, we were right among the people who were buying boats and looking for a berth to moor them!'
According to McCluskey, Meridien had 'a very good show'. 'We had many more enquiries than last year and would hope to get a similar position next year.'
Meridien will be exhibiting at the Brisbane International Boat Show, promoting its Gold Coast marina properties, Horizon Shores, and then at Mandurah in WA.
'Everybody in the west goes to Mandurah and they are serious buyers so it makes sense to be there,' says McCluskey.
