With a record 1000 plus sailors and 120 yachts of all sizes and shapes, the 21st annual Meridien Marinas Airlie Beach Race Week will start at 11am this morning on a sparkling Pioneer Bay. There will more than just a little Kiwi flavour about the front of the fleet in the Grand Prix division as the top four 50 footers are all New Zealand built, with ownership divided between two camps.
