Match Race Germany 2011's title has been taken by Francesco Bruni. Bruni has won his first World Match Racing Tour victory after stamping out Peter Gilmour on Lake Constance. This victory puts Bruni Racing team only two points behind the team of Damien Iehl in the WMRT standings after first two stages of the 2011 tour have been completed. Bruni was in consistent form throughout Match Race Germany, winning Qualifying to earn a direct ticket to the Semi-Finals which he won against Phil Robertson's WAKA Racing team on count back.
