On a picture perfect 'Champagne sailing day' four Marten boats from around Australian and one New Zealand crew flew in for a different regatta.

The Marten 49's had a meeting on Sydney Harbour. A pleasant combination of cruising with a bit of racing took place and even though there were four boats on the race course where some One Design racing was provided.

It was a great way to spend the day on the harbour away from all the high end Sydney-Hobart racing which is going on this week. A different spectacle from the maxis sailing around the harbour during the SOLAS big Boat Series but still eye catching for any onlooker who had the chance to enjoy a summer day.
