'Maritimo 48 at dawn' Maritimo

Maritimo sales and marketing manager, Peter Jenkins, has returned from a productive visit to Thailand's Phuket Boat Show, confident of two sales of the company's popular 48 Sky Lounge.

'Our Thai dealer, Wahoo Marine, does a first class job for us there and at this stage it's almost certain we've got the two 48 Sky Lounge boats away,' he said.

'Crowd numbers appeared down, but there w ere buyers there, many ex-pats among them. We probably had more people inspecting the Maritimo display than any other exhibit there, even competitive dealers queued up for a look,' he added.

Jenkins said inclement weather hampered the show up to a point, with heavy rain falling on the Saturday evening and the Sunday.

'Well worth the effort, though, with many locals seeing a Maritimo for the first time, Jenkins said.

'With the hot and often humid Thai climate, the air conditioned flying bridge proved a real winner for us,' he added.
