Marina at Keppel Bay ready for Boat Asia 2009

Boat Asia 2009 will be held for the second year running at the five-star
Marina at Keppel Bay from 23 April - 26 April 2009.

Targeted at boating enthusiasts in and around the region, Boat Asia 2009 will bring to Singapore shores the cr?me de la cr?me of luxury motor boats, sail boats, catamarans and mega yachts from leading brands including Maritimo, Riviera, Marquis, Leopard, Fountaine Pajot, and Riva amongst others. Boat Asia 2009 will also see the debut of boating masterpieces such as the Riviera 4400SY, SportsRiva 56, Moorings-Leopard 47 Powercat, Marquis 420 Sport Coupe, as well as the Fontaine Pajot Salina 48.

For those who prefer to stay on land, speed boats, jet skis, sailing yachts, marine equipment and accessories, luxury resorts and properties will also be exhibited on land.

In line with the luxury lifestyle theme, guests will enjoy a wide array of activities ranging from yoga and dance performances to an on-water fashion show. Those who are more inclined to take advantage of the tranquil waters off Keppel Bay will have the opportunity to indulge in free sailing trials offered by Keppel Bay Sailing Academy and RSYC Sea Sports Academy. Visitors who are looking for some excitement at the show can test their skills at maneuvering RC sailboats during the "RC Sailing Competition."

Specially invited high-net worth individuals will also enjoy exclusive access to the Island Suite, a VIP lounge with a panoramic view of the marina.

On 24th April 2009, there will be a Charity Gala Dinner at the Shangri-la Hotel to support The Straits Times (ST) School. The proceeds will be used for the Pocket Money Fund that helps more than 7,500 children annually pay for meals at school, bus-fare or stationery.

Boat Asia will be open between 13:00 - 21:00 (Thursday - Saturday) and 12:00 - 19:00 on Sunday.
