Approximately 74kms south of Perth, Mandurah is blessed with a unique blend of coast, bushland, industry and inner-city living.
A tourist's paradise, Mandurah is also the capital of the Peel region and considered the gateway to the South West.
Mandurah is abuzz with large numbers of residents and visitors daily, although history reminds us this is nothing new. In fact, the name Mandurah was actually derived from the Aboriginal word, 'mandjar', meaning the 'meeting place'.
The cosmopolitan, word-class marina is undergoing expanding and offers unequalled boating facilities. It will soon accommodate a vibrant mix of waterfront restaurants, boutique shops and stylish apartment living.
The Mandurah Boat Show is renowned for its world class displays, where visitors can check out anything from $7m luxury cruisers, to yachts, sports fishing boats, trailerboats and dinghies.
To support the thriving outdoor lifestyle in Western Australia, the show also offers a range of boating accessories as well as fishing, camping and diving gear.
On average, the Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show attracts 25,000 people from Perth, Mandurah and rural Western Australia to the Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club at the picturesque Mandurah Ocean Marina.
Plans for the 2008 Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show are well underway with an impressive cast of exhibitors already confirmed. The on-water display area will feature the luxurious vessels including one of the largest Sunseeker displays ever shown in Australia, as well as Bertram, Riviera, Princess, Searay, Boston Whaler and Caribbean just to name a few - plus Grandbanks and Bella Marine for the first time ever at the Mandurah Show.
The hardstand area will feature a larger display of Quintrex boats than any other Australian show along with a great range of new trailerable boats, inflatables, car-toppers and jet skis.
