The Gosford to Lord Howe Island Yacht Race 2011 continues to be sponsored by Hempel Australia Pty Ltd. The iconic race is ran by Gosford Sailing Club. The 38th annual blue water race across the northern Tasman Sea to the World Heritage-listed Lord Howe Island, a distance of 416 nautical miles, will start on Saturday, 29 October 2011.
