Lock Crowther Memorial Regatta inshore races. Heavy rain squalls in between calm patches dictated the racing on the first of the LCMR inshore races. Alternating rainsqualls with 20+knots to complete calm created a lottery that was hard to escape. The fast boats were hit hard on handicap as smaller and slower boats caught back up during the calms. Race one Again southern Pittwater brought unpredictable conditions despite the 30 minute delay and the start was in windless conditions.
