Laser European Championship in Estonia today saw Australian Sailing Team's Tom Slingsby have a strong start to the event, finishing the first day in third position. Slingsby recorded a fourth and a first in the opening two races of the regatta to be one point behind Olympic champion Paul Goodison of Great Britain and three behind Rutger Schaardenburg of the Netherlands.
