'Oracle heads windward - Louis Vuitton Pacific Cup' Crosbie Lorimer

It seemed we were barely out on the water on Wednesday morning for the Challenger Final than we were heading back to base; game over.

With Allinghi needing only one more win in the best of three Finals, the start was near enough the finish for Oracle, locked out at the Committee Boat end and losing distance for the rest of the race.

This morning has started grey after a wet night. With the promise of southwesterlies of up to 20 knots and more this afternoon it's expected that at least three of the best of seven Finals between Allinghi and Team New Zealand will be sailed today.

Crosbie Lorimer is in Auckland for the Finals and shot these images during yesterday's racing.
