Guy Nowell © | From their stand at China International Boat Show 2009, Jeanneau Yachts announced today that they have signed a contract to supply five Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32i yachts to Taihu Shanshui Marina to 'seed' a fleet of boats with the intention of starting club racing at the new marina.
The first boat will be in China by the end of the month, and the remainder will follow 'shortly' said M Denis Quartier, Export Sales Manager for Jeanneau.
The deal was concluded through Jeanneau's Far East agents, Prestige Yachts, a partnership between HK agent China Pacific Marine (Don Chow) and Shenzhen-based Speedo Marine (James Li).
'Jeanneau yachts are well-known for being comfortable to cruise and quick to race,' said M Quartier. 'They are an ideal way to start Club racing in the relatively new China market'.
