Indian Chief - ready set go for LCMR
Owner skipper Darren Drew says all the preparation has been done and the 'Chief' is ready for the APC Logistics - Lock Crowther Regatta which is held every October long weekend on Sydney's Pittwater.

Darren will be well supported by expert sailmaker and world sailing champion Ben Kelly from Sailtech who has designed and made the new sail wardrobe for the 'Chief'. So long as Ben brings the Chief's new screecher with him on his flight from Brisbane this Thursday the boat will be complete and ready to go.
The skipper is looking to be up the pointy end of the fleet once the starter gets the expected 30 plus multis under way this weekend on Pittwater. The 'Chief' will have some strong competition from the likes of Doug Cumming's Eagan 9.5 meter Trimaran - Voodoo Spirit and the 33 foot Grainger cat - Rapid Ride.
Although only really a big off the beach cat, Rapid Ride wont be missed on the race course having just been repainted hot pink. if sailed well by new owner David Bishop, Rapid Ride should be the boat to beat.
