The inaugural Pritchett Pairs Team racing event was held on Moreton Bay on the 5th July. 5 Teams travelled from across Australia to soak up the sun and warmth of Brisbane and compete for the Pritchett Bucket.

A double round robin was held around a square course allowing for quick change overs and maximum racing. Dave Rogers crewed by Liz Kameen and Gray Pritchett crewed by Ann Gough put in a championship performance losing only one race all day.

The day was topped off with a great game of three man at a local restaurant that took many of us of back to our University Team Racing days. The event was run to give local Brisbane Boys College some effective training prior to their School State Nationals later this week in Sydney. A big thanks go to them for the loan of boats and customary hospitality and we wish them the best of luck.

An excellent time was had by all and the plans for next years event are well underway.
