For the past three days some of the Sail-World.com team have had the very pleasant task of covering the second Sunferries Magnetic Island Race Week.

Although today's weather is not postcard perfect, the past two days have been fantastic and the racing close, here in far North Queensland on beautiful Magnetic Island.

Townsville's Guilty Pleasures, Leon Thomas' 7m sports boat currently holds the Series lead from another Townsville boat, Wayne Millar's Zoe.

Today the fleets head out on a picturesque 26 nautical mile course around Magnetic Island.

Enjoy the images from the racing so far.
