IODA Asian Championship 2010 - Nia Jerwood reports

AIODA sent a team of six Optimist sailors to attend the IODA Asian Championship in Pattaya, Thailand. The team consisted of WA sailors Sam Blackburn, Christopher Charlwood and myself (Nia Jerwood) with Diego Figueroa (coach) and James McLennan, Klaus Lorenz and Jack Graves from the Eastern States. I was the only girl on the team and I found it quite challenging. We met up at Perth Airport at 10pm for the flight to Bangkok via Singapore and travelled from Bangkok to Pattaya in a minibus We enjoyed two and a half days sightseeing before the rest of the team arrived. ...
