Grand Banks Protects with Peelable
US boat builder, Grand Banks Yachts has reported excellent results at its Singapore facility protecting its multi-million dollar builds with the Skudo range of peelable protective coatings.

The Singapore operations build the Aleutian Series, including 13 GB59 Aleutian Pilot House Boats, four GB65 Aleutian Pilot house boats and three GB72 Aleutian boats per year.
The manufacturer will be using the unique peelable protective coatings to protect fiberglass surface during construction and shipping and to protect the interior flooring during construction.
Representatives from the company said they were 'very happy with the performance of the coatings and are now looking to use the coatings for the external timber decks and also for transport.'
Skudo, a Gold Coast company, has a highly skilled chemist on staff and is currently developing new coatings specifically designed for Grand Banks individual requirements, taking in to account the climate and conditions, usage and traffic.
Skudo's range of aqueous protective coatings can be sprayed, painted or rolled on and protect non-porous substrates such as fiberglass, glass, timber, porcelain and concrete from scratching, scuffing, chemicals and contamination during the build process and delivery.
The company has also developed and is poised to release its latest product, Rf200, aimed at combating the problem of scuffing and damage to timber, tile or other flooring.
Skudo has developed this revolutionary product which can be applied to almost any floor type internally. It is a two coat application applied using either roller, brush, or spray. Once the coating has been applied and left to dry, the floor coat can withstand heavy traffic and will remain totally protective until you are ready to remove.
Traditionally protected under plastic during the construction phase, flooring can now be absolutely protected using Rf200 and can mean the difference between profit and loss on a contract. 
Rf200 protects under light impact, water, and most solvents and does not allow grit or contaminants to get between itself and the surface it protects. The removal process is as easy as removing masking tape and leaves the surface dust free and perfectly preserved.
