Fireball South Australia Winter Update
The South Australian Fireball fleet has returned from the recent World championships in Thailand full of enthusiasm.

Interest in the class has remained high following some great performances in the world championship, which included seven Australian boats finishing in the top 15. Preparation has already begun for the coming season, which climaxes with the 08/09 national championship to be held over the Christmas period in Hervey Bay, Queensland.
Typically our boats are tucked away for the winter months but this year Fireballers have been out most weekends. Winter training races have been held at both Largs Bay & Adelaide Sailing Clubs. Many of the teams are taking the opportunity to test out new equipment, new systems and different techniques.
