A new Fireball has arrived in Australia from the Xtreme Sailing Products company based in Singapore.

It the first Fireball from XSP to be delivered to Australia and is an exciting development for the class in this country. The hull has been neatly fitted with Ronstan fittings displaying their latest product releases.

Nathan Stockley and Sam Muirhead who were third at the 2008 World Championship have purchased the boat.

Their first official outing is expected to be the weekend of February 7th & 8th for the continuation of the South Australian State Championship.

The Fireball has been a strong class in Australia and now with another building option, the class looks to grow as we head towards the Fireball Worlds planned for Mandurah in Western Australia in early 2012.

Fireball hulls have proven their longevity. At last years World championship the third placed boat (a YMS hull) was 10+ years old and the winning hull of the last two Australian Championships (also a YMS) is now into its eighth season of hard racing with no signs of slowing down!

There are currently good quality Fireballs for sale. Whether you're looking for a new Fireball or a second hand hull now is a great time to jump into the class.

Contact your local Fireball representative for more information.
