Exide has released two all-new flagship marine batteries to spearhead the company's expanded marine ranges.

The all-new Exide Marine Stowaway and Marine Starting batteries have been completely redesigned to meet the needs of marine applications. The new construction is now extremely tough and durable to deliver long term life.
Additionally they are capable of heavy duty performance in terms of starting and cycling as well as incorporating useful multi-terminals in the Marine Stowaway model.

The complete range comprises:
* Marine Stowaway with hybrid technology suits cycling and starting for leisure and fishing boats.
* Marine Starting delivers impressive power supply to applications like fishing boats.
*Orbital Marine is completely sealed for deep cycling and starting with extra
safety: especially suits yachts.
* Industrial is an extreme heavy duty and deep cycle for extra power for full accessory loads in larger craft.
* Gel cell is high technology for marine starting and deep cycling with leisure boats and yachts.
* AGM is a completely sealed battery for advanced instrument power in larger boats.

'This new range is headed by two top marine model ranges,' says Exide's Denis Dwyer. 'The objective is to ensure every application is totally met with the right technology.

'The days when a conventional transport type battery has been forced to double-up at marine work has definitely long gone. In its place we now have a choice between six types with each having it own ranges in size, capacity and terminal choices.

'Marine batteries are now a sophisticated and reliable part of a modern boat ? big or small, for a very long time.' Dwyer said.
