NSW Maritime Chief Executive Steve Dunn today said boating safety restrictions were in place for the scuttling of the Ex-HMAS Adelaide off Avoca Beach. Mr Dunn said the scuttling was scheduled for 10:30am on Wednesday April 13 at a site 1.8 km off Avoca. 'NSW Maritime has strict navigation controls in place for safety reasons,' he said. 'All craft must keep well clear of the ship.' The NSW Maritime safety controls are as follows: At 3pm today (Tuesday April 12) the exclusion zone will be 1000m around the ship.
