Lake Macquarie Fleet Captain Mark Phillips said this afternoon 'We already have an excellent entry list with John Bertrand, Alistair Gair from New Zealand, Mark Thornburrow from Hong Kong, Julian Plante, GT with GW, Tom King all keen to make it tough for the locals, though 2004 Etchells World Champion Peter 'Polly' McNeil knows his way around the Lake.

'We had an excellent Spring series here in October with some of the crews on their own familiarisation tour.

'We have assembled an excellent team with PRO Ross Wilson, Kevin Wilson and Phil Collyer. Now we just need our regular January weather - so we are looking forward to booming north easters all next week for the nine race series.'

Initial entries will close today, with a late fee penalty of $110 going forward. So NOW is the time to complete your entries. Here is NOR and entry form www.etchells.org.au/calendar/docs/104.pdf
