Welcome to another edition of Powerboat-World.

Down on the 'Apple Isle', the team from the Horsehead Water Ski Club and their many 'imports' who joined in, have failed to establish a new world record for the most number of skiers towed behind one boat.

And what a boat- lets start with a high speed ferry...for a while, it looked as though they would achieve the mark as the 122 skiers were all up and running, but only for about 50-metres when a tow line snapped.

And there's plenty of action coming up this month with the offshore teams heading south to Williamstown and Geelong and selection races for the forthcoming World Water Ski titles in Belgium.

If you're a Mustang fan the highlight would have been the unveiling of the company's all-new 430 Sports Coupe'; we reveal details of the boat and the gala function staged by Mustang Marine management to welcome the new boat to the fold.

At Honda Australia there's no doubt the company is still celebrating winning Car of the Year honours, but it has not stopped the marine division from pressing ahead with exciting additions to the Honda personal watercraft range.

On the P1 front, there's a new team from the Ukraine out to make a mark this year, campaigning a new Donzi 38ZRC; if Donzi boats lives up to their well-earned reputation, the Ukrainians may well be a force to reckon with.

Incidentally, take heed of a warning from NSW Maritime's Brett Moore, general manager, recreational boating; be aware that fuel tanks and fuel lines need to made from ethanol-acceptable material before using ethanol-based fuel.

It's all here, right where you'd expect it, on the pages of Powerboat-World.com

In the next day we will have a report from the New Zealand Thundercat scene.

However many many of our readers don't wait to read this newsletter, they drop by the Powerboat-world.com site repeatedly during the week.
