Racing kicks off tomorrow, for the Meridien Marinas Airlie Beach 22nd Annual Race Week, but for some it was time to shake the cobwebs out of their sails. Many crews have travelled long distances to come and sail in the tropical Whitsundays this time of year, and today many of the smaller entrants in the sports boats fleet were keen to get out.
