In partnership with Fairfax Custom Media and starting with The Sunday Age, Grow Boating will launch Australia's first recreational marine press supplement. Known as 'Discover Boating Australia', the colour pull out magazine will appear in The Sunday Age, 29 June 2008, with a greatly reduced rate for advertising.
'What makes this offer unique is the negotiated cost on behalf of the marine industry,' says CEO of Grow Boating, Jame Wilson. 'The Supplement will be discounted by 60% off standard rates and is exclusive to GBA Members.'
Initially this supplement will appear in the Victorian Sunday Age (readership of 722,000) as a dedicated monthly insert and then expand across all major state weekend papers giving you national coverage at a rate previously unattainable. Discover Boating, will be a tabloid lift out exploring the different types of boats available, and the lifestyle options that accompany it.
Specific editorial content will come from seasoned journalists covering topics like product launches, innovations, the boating lifestyle, safety, water sports, tourism and destinations, financial topics and more.
Stories will be relevant to all segments from the trailerable segment to those interested in luxury, long-range cruising.
Supplement copies will be available to members for retail distribution and once again this will be provided without cost.
