'Desserted...' - it's not a spelling mistake or a typo, it's a social gathering of bubbly proportions next month! It's the Peppers Anchorage High Tea in Style at Sail Port Stephens 2009.

One of the key objectives for the Sail Port Stephens organising committee is to work with the event's foundation partners to provide quality, affordable social fun - and to go the extra mile for those that don't necessarily want to get out on the water every day.... or any day for that matter.

The Peppers High Tea In Style is set to be a fabulous afternoon of cupcakes, scones, petite fours and delicate savoury delights...and of course, champagne!

For just $36 per person, there's an hour of champagne service, a gorgeous buffet of decadent High Tea treats, fine tea and coffee...and a magic relaxing view across the pristine waters of the Port Stephens Marine Park as you sit back in the comfy lounges in the Verandah Tea Room.

There'll also be a range of other beverages, including the stunning Wild Oats Rose available for purchase at special Sail Port Stephens High Tea in Style prices.

SLAM will present their range of stylish (well they are Italian, so it goes hand in hand really..) ladies apr?s sailing gear, and offer attractive discounts to anything ordered on the day, or during the regatta.
There's great shorts, polo shirts cut perfectly for curves and fantastic jackets that look great and keep you warm as the autumn season kicks in.

The Peppers High Tea in Style is not the only social fun designed to be family, wife and partner friendly at Sail Port Stephens - the whole social program for the regatta has taken on this ethos, and other activities include:

Monday 20th April
- Sunset BBQ and Wild Oats Wine - on the boardwalk at Peppers Anchorage

Tuesday 22nd April
- Discount dinner offers at d'Albora Marina restaurants - dine al fresco right by the water at a wide range of dining options, from wood fired pizza to delicious seafood or modern cafe cuisine.

Wednesday 22nd April
- Commodores Cup Prize giving - Fabulous buffet dinner and Wild Oats Wines - All Seasons Salamander Shores Resort.

Thursday 23rd April
- the Beneteau Long Lazy Lunch @ Peppers Anchorage - $75 a head for a quality lunch + beers and Wild Oats Wines for 3 hours. Special entertaining guest speaker.

Friday 24th April
- Cold Beers, a good band and easy food at the Nelson Bay Diggers.
- Beer garden and kids play area downstairs in the RSL club

Saturday 25th April
- Anzac Day SLAM Beach Party at Shoal Bay Resort and Spa. Last year it was almost like a huge crew dinner, with everyone in the same room for a good value good quality buffet dinner - live music and prizes....

Sunday 26th April
Regatta prize giving - Rock Lobster Al Fresco area - level 1 - d'Albora Marina

Monday to Sunday
Happy hour from 4 to 5 at Aqua Blue and Elena's at d'Albora Marina immediately after racing each afternoon.

Port Stephens Coaches will be providing a bus service to and from each venue each night - getting you there and home safely and giving you the opportunity kick back and relax and not have to worry about a designated driver. Bus passes will be $10 each for the whole week and available at the regatta office.

From little things, big things grow, and Sail Port Stephens would not be possible without the support of the foundation partner group of Nelson Bay Diggers, Shoal Bay Resort and Spa, Peppers Anchorage and All Seasons Salamander Shores -as well as the resource contributions of the supporting partner group in SLAM, d'Albora Marina, Yachting NSW and Business Port Stephens, an initiative of Port Stephens Council.

Wild Oats Wines also joins as a supporting partner this year, and their wonderful range of reds and whites, as well as a stunning rose, will be the wine in everyone's glass at the regatta.
