Dates announced for Skandia Geelong Week

The dates for Skandia Geelong Week and Skandia Docklands Invitational have been announced. The annual event will kick off in the Docklands on Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd. The Audi Series will commence from Friday 23rd - Monday 26th January 2009, with the traditional passage race to be held on Saturday 24th.

The International Moth National Championships will start one day earlier on Tuesday 20th on Corio Bay.

After another very successful event this year, Skandia Geelong Week organisers are well advanced in planning for next year's event, and there will be some changes.

'After receiving feedback from our competitor base we have made a conscious effort to ensure we continually improve on the program and devise new ways of adding value to the experience' said Regatta Chairman, John Kint.
