Clipper 09-10 Race 8 - San Francisco to Panama Day 19. All of the Clipper Race yachts have now crossed the Race 8 finish line and are making best speed towards Panama. Now that this nail-biting race is over the skippers and crews have time to reflect on the extremely close contest from San Francisco that was ultimately won by Spirit of Australia. The first four boats finished within two hours of each other, Cape Breton Island shortly after them in fifth place. All five are expected to arrive in Flamenco Marina, Panama, on Monday 10 May.
