Sail-World has spoken to one of the assessors, Graeme Robinson, on the still shaking ground at Christchurch. Graeme is also a Yachting NZ Board member, Napier Sailing Club member and well known Flying Fifteen sailor. He advises that the damage in Christchurch is far, far more serious and extensive than the previous earthquake in September, and the situation is ongoing. As he spoke to Sail-World he was watching a cliff about to fall on a dozen or so houses. He does not believe that there will be any sailing or sport in Christchurch for some time.
