Canberra Yacht Club hosts OK Dinghy Sprint Series this weekend

This weekend will the herald the arrival of up 30 top OK Dinghy's on the frigid waters of Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra. The regatta officially titled 'Myuna Bay Australian OK Sprint Series' will consist of five short and one long races over the two day regatta.

The event hosted by the Canberra Yacht Club is expected to provide an exciting 'shakedown' for the unprecedented number of new boats in the strong Australian fleet. Four States will be represented, with boats competing from the ACT, Victoria, NSW and South Australia. The stage is set for a fantastic regatta and should provide excellent competition for some of the 24 confirmed Australians traveling to the 2010 worlds in Wellington.
