Canada and the world of sailing lost a dear friend today. George Blanchard passed away this morning, Friday March 10. As a young junior sailor I knew of George well. We would often walk over to the Toronto Sailing and Canoe Club (TS&CC)and speak with him. Always giving with his time and always keen to help, George was just one of those special people in our sport.
